How to kill a mockingbird report

This book had a huge impact on me it showed me how much people have changed since slavery have still had racism but not as much as we use to have. In this book a man is that is colored is falsely convicted of rape at this time people are more racist than ever. the man is also handicapped but the man was still convicted. The story is narrated by Jean Louise. This book is spread across three years. Jean  has an older brother named Jem and a father named Atticus Finch. In the story, the mother has already passed away. Atticus works as a lawyer in the Maycomb County, an imaginary district in southern Alabama. In the story, I learned how far the humans have gone racism is a big problem but not like before. I also learned that back in that time there was a lot of corruption.
